The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is now accepting applications for the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC). This is the final application round for fiscal year 2021-2022 with $104.7M (plus any previously unallocated amounts) available. The CCTC is a state income tax credit rewarding businesses that project the following over the next 5 years:
- Creating full-time jobs
- Purchasing or leasing real and personal property
The tax credit agreements are negotiated between taxpayers and GO-Biz then approved by the CCTC Committee. The deadline for this round is Monday, March 28, 2022, at 11:59 (PDT).
